Tommy FutralTommy is a Retired County Extension Coordinator with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System in Tallapoosa County.

He received his BS in Agricultural Science from Auburn University in 1971 and his M.Ed. in Vocational and Adult Education from Auburn University in 1990.

Prior to his Extension appointment, Tommy farmed full-time from 1971 to 1985 raising hogs, cattle, and hay. He joined the Alabama Cooperative Extension System in 1985 as an Assistant County Agent in Clay County and retired as County Extension Coordinator in Tallapoosa County. Tommy coached Alabama's forestry teams to a 1st, 3rd, 6th and 7th Place finish in the 1991, 1993, 2006 and 2007 National 4-H Forestry Invitational, respectively. Currently he manages Futral Outdoors Services.
